Well, I read all of the hype in the RA magazine and there was even one picture in particular which I really liked the look of… and yet, and yet.
I think there’s sweet spot in my preference between skill and vision, and somehow (I could be quite/very wrong about this), Milton Avery’s work (especially his later stuff) seemed concept heavy. I liked his later worked less and less. Sorry.
