I have been quite taken with Queen Eleanor in Stony Stratford for years (and it wasn’t too hard to track down the artist Luke aka Chiba Creative).

Anyway, Luke was very generous and shared some of his knowledge–I was delighted to learn the ‘special’ paint used was in fact exterior masonry paint in mixer pots–lots of colours, see. Oh and I was primed to expect “Oh, where are you painting a mural?” for when I went to buy my own…

I also joined him to have a play one day near St. Albans, too, and painted some trees on a wall…

And with this in mind I was quite taken with the goodies adorning the walls in New Brighton when I was last there.
