Reference photo is an example of contre-jour i.e. looking into the light, therefore bodies are silhouetted. Perspective is added challenge of reference photo.

Process

• No. 8 brush burnt sienna with solvent to add mid-tones to ground
• No. 2 brush to draw shapes
• Neat ultramarine for dark
• White added to ultramarine, for cool highlights
