Oil paints arranged on a large palette, loosely as
warmMDF board “gesso-ed” with Michael Harding Non Absorbent Primer and burnt sienna used to stain the white with a (quick drying) mid-tone.
Initial drawing was with a pencil, and colours worked from dark to light, and the other gem from the day was that if the brush in your hand feels slightly too big, it’s probably the right size…
